Our trails systems are open because of our gracious landowners and many, many, many volunteer hours put in by the Winneshiek County Trail Twister's club members. Please respect landowner and stay on the designated trail. Use COMMON SENSE . A few dumb acts will make all riders lose the permission to travel on the property of the landowner/s. Please be respectful of the permission granted to us. Our Trails will open November 15th or when weather permits, whichever is later. Our trails are funded by snowmobiler's. Snowmobile owner's pay for the equipment and materials used to make the scenic trail system that joins many county together through the back woods and farm fields, by registering their snowmobiles in this Great STATE OF IOWA,.
